The most-worn textile you own is the one nobody tested.

Your watch strap touches your skin longer than any garment you own. Twelve hours a day or more. Workouts, sweat, showers, sleep.

In a 2024 peer-reviewed study (Environmental Science & Technology Letters, University of Notre Dame), 68% of tested smartwatch bands showed elevated fluorine, the chemical marker of PFAS. The source: fluoroelastomer, the synthetic rubber behind many premium sport bands. The researchers' advice was direct: avoid fluoroelastomer, wear woven nylon.

And the band you own has a second problem you can smell. That odor after a workout is bacteria, growing in trapped sweat.

We rebuilt the strap at the fiber level to answer both.

Graphene, woven into the most trusted strap design in watchmaking. Titanium on the hardware.

Graphene oxide is blended into the nylon at 1% by weight and melt-spun into the fiber itself. The strap is 100% this yarn, in one colorway, because the color is the carbon.

COATED LATTICE

Encapsulated, never coated

Antimicrobial bands exist. Almost all of them are coatings.

Silver and copper treatments release ions from the surface, so every wash spends more of the finish. LATTICE goes the other way. The graphene oxide enters the polymer before the fiber exists, then gets melt-spun and sealed inside the yarn. Nothing has to leach to work, and the proof is the test order: the 99% number was measured after 50 washes.

Grade 2 titanium

The watch-industry standard for wearable hardware.

Commercially pure titanium: corrosion-proof in salt and sweat, hypoallergenic, roughly 40% lighter than steel. The NATO 20 and the AW Buckle share one hardware set, with the Graphene-X name carved in the metal.

The 1973 G10 design

The strap that never lets go.

The British Ministry of Defence specified it on requisition form G10: twenty millimeters, nylon, and one clever trick. The strap passes under the watch, so a failed spring bar leaves the watch on your wrist. Fifty years on, the silhouette is perfect and the material is not. We kept the geometry and rebuilt the rest.

Built to breathe, wash, and dry

Woven nylon, 140D/72F, 20mm wide, 1.0mm thick.

Woven nylon holds no pooled sweat layer the way solid rubber does. Air moves through it, water leaves it, a sink rinse resets it. Machine wash cold, air dry, no softener, no dryer. The adjustment holes are sealed by laser and ultrasonic finishing so the edges hold.

Straps hang in a constant-temperature steam chamber, then get washed, so the webbing, stitching, and hardware see heat and detergent before you do.
