Measuring guide
Measure your lug width
Lug width is the gap between the two lugs where the strap sits. Straps are sized to it exactly. LATTICE NATO 20mm needs 20mm lugs.
Take the watch off and look at the gap between the lugs, the two horns that hold the strap.
Measure the inside distance from lug to lug, straight across, with a ruler or the printed scale below. Measure at the point where the strap sits.
Round to the nearest whole millimeter. Most watches land on 18, 20, 22, 24 or 26mm.
Screen scale unverified
Numbers mark every 10mm, tall ticks every 10mm, medium ticks every 5mm. Hold the watch against the screen with one lug on the zero line and read the width at the other lug.
Make the scale exact for this screen
Screens draw millimeters at different sizes, so the scale above needs one adjustment. Hold any bank card upright against the screen and move the slider until the short edge of the card sits exactly between the two solid lines. Every card in the world is 53.98mm on that edge.
Prints at true size on paper. Check the print against a bank card, 85.6mm on the long edge.
